Apart from regular practice sessions during the winter and dancing out most weeks during the summer, the team often spend weekends under canvas (or in caravans or B&Bs if they're affluent enough) at festivals across the UK or even on the other side of the channel in mainland Europe.
The men and women who dance and play for Knockhundred come from all sorts of trades and professions. Doctors and nurses, teachers and students, architects and builders have all been attracted to the team along with engineers, solicitors, hairdressers and furniture restorers. There can be few walks of life that can’t boast a past or present member of Knockhundred.
Team members come from as far afield as Portsmouth and Fareham on the Hampshire coast and Guildford in the middle of Surrey to meet up with the rest of the Sussex based team.
